Animal League News
ROCKY is a 5 1/2-year-old, 80-pound, fawn-colored bullmastiff mix male who needs a good home. He was found wandering in the desert between Sonoita and Corona de Tucson. Flyers were posted but owners could not be found. Rocky is affectionate and loves to be around people; he is social, smart, and quiet. He loves to sit and shake for treats. He is in good health; finder has provided all shots and will have him neutered and TALGV will have several fatty tumors removed. Rocky is housebroken, leash and crate trained. He gets along with other large dogs; likes small dogs and kids; cats are unknown. There is no adoption fee for Rocky.
If you will welcome Rocky into a loving home as part of your family, please call Jennifer from 8 AM to 8 PM at 801-891-8285.

Wouldn’t it be great if they did DNA testing on all the “mystery” dogs that come in to TALGV? What a great genetic mix you’d find! In my case they’ve got bets going on Anatolian shepherd, Swiss Mountain dog, or maybe even a smidge of St. Bernard, but no matter, you’d be a winner with any of them! I was seen being dropped out of a car in Amado, so there’s no clue about my origin. Suffice it to say, I’m going to be a pretty big guy (I’m only about 3 1/2 months old as of mid-January, so have quite a bit of growing to do!), but lots of times big dogs are way more easygoing than the little active ones! Why not adopt me and see for yourself!

I’m “overnighting” these days with a volunteer and she says I’m doing great – learning good leash manners, ride well in the car, and use doggie door. I’m getting along fine in a home environment and adjusting to living with other dogs. Thanks for looking at my pictures. My biography is under construction. Please stop back again to read about me or… even better… stop in at TALGV to meet me soon. Kennels are open 10-2 every day.
Arrived January 19, 2015.
