Hi… my name is Sabo.
Adopted May 11, 2015
Sabo comes with FREE Vet Care for Life.
As my mom’s protector and companion all my life, you know that I was pretty distressed when she died. I had my job to do and did it well and wondered what would happen without her, but the good people here assure me that there is another place for me in the world. My mom’s neighbor said, “Sabo can be very gentle, sweet, and loving, and with strong leadership will make a loyal companion.” I’ve never been around kids, but did live with another big dog much of my life, so I’m guessing a fairly quiet home with mature people would suite me to a T. I’m an impressive, 89-pound, 11-year-old Tibetan mastiff lady (I come with Free Vet Care for Life) who’ll see that you’re loved and protected for the rest of my life.

BEAUTY is a sweet and friendly brindle and white female Boxer mix that needs a good home. Fosters rescued her recently when renters moved away and Beauty was left behind. They already have a dog so they would like her to be with a family that has more space and time for her. Beauty is a social girl and is good with kids; cats are unknown. She knows sit, down, and shake. She likes to play with toys and going to the dog park to be with other dogs her size. She is estimated to be about 2 1/2-years-old. She is spayed and is in good health. She always uses the doggy door and is leash trained but would probably benefit from use of gentle leader.
There is no adoption fee for Beauty. If you would welcome her into a loving home, please call Marilyn from 8 AM to 8 PM at 520-247-4315.

I’ve known tough times, but I’m a dog who chooses to live in a happy today! Part of my past story (not even the worst part) was spending all day alone in a crate. But then, one lucky day, I moved to my foster home. My foster family gave me gentle reassurance until I got comfortable. They soon discovered I love going for walks, and now we share time in the yard, too, where I sniff and explore, free and relaxed, happy just to be with them. Plus, sometimes I get to have fun playtime with a visiting dog friend. All I need now is a happy ending: A forever home! If you can share the good life with me—a beautiful female Brindle Boxer/Hound mix —please call my friends at TALGV today.

After being rescued six months ago, I lived with a family that included five kids (ranging in age from 12 down to 4), two male dogs, and a bearded dragon! Now that’s an active combination if ever there was one! My people said, “Cheyenne is very gentle with the kids and will make a great walker and lap dog (if you have a big lap!). She is a very well- rounded girl and we all loved the chance to help her. She will make her new family very happy.” Well, now! What more do you need to know (except that I sometimes don’t like female dogs — my only shortcoming apparently). I’m a striking, brindle Lab/Boxer mix who would love the chance to show you just what a fantastic companion I can be!

Anyone who’s ever had a Basset hound or a Dachshund can tell you, we’re just about the most delightful dogs in the world — and I’m no exception! I totally ADORE people (and the attention that comes from them!), I have a sweet, happy temperament, love walks and car rides, playing fetch, and am just plain very smart. I’m crate trained, but I’m still working on perfect house manners (my foster mom said, “If I just had one more week…” when she left for vacation). I get along with other dogs (but am not terribly fond of little kids and have never been around cats), so all I need to be the perfect companion is consistency in my training. If you’ve got that, have I got a deal for you!
