Maya Angelou wrote, “A friend may be waiting behind a stranger’s face,” and my brother, Perdido, and I sure do hope that a “stranger” who visits TALGV will the friend we’re looking for! After we lost our first dad, another older gentleman adopted us but his health declined, too, so we’re both back waiting for the next chapter of our lives to begin. I’m a little shy at the moment, but I’m basically a people-loving, 11½-year-old (with free vet care) and I’m looking forward to “Phase 3” of my life with a new human (and since I lived with and depended on Perdido all my life I need to be adopted with him). You know the old Doublemint ad, “Two are better than one,” so why not see how true that really is!
